Hobart today announced that it has landed an order to supply almost 70 of its FXSTD undercounter dishwashers to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Hobart said that the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust chose the FXSTD after putting it through its paces against warewashers from two other manufacturers, the FXSTD scored highly on a number of evaluative criteria set by the Trust. Hobart went on to described the contract as a “significant” tender win and a testament to both the quality of the Hobart warewashing machines and to the importance of fostering beneficial long term-relationships in the public sector. The manufacturer said elements the NHS Foundation Trust liked about the undercounter dishwashers included the fact that the FXSTD employs a unique pressure-less steam technology to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection of every item of ware, and that the dishwasher achieves a minimum of 80°C on the contact surface for two minutes, thus helping to eliminate the risk of potentially hazardous materials that may remain.
