Contactless limit increase boosts spending
Barclaycard data research has shown that spending via contactless card technology has almost doubled since the limit rose from £20 to £30 in September 2015.The research showed that pubs and bars have benefitted most with a 92% increase in contactless spending, followed by fast-food outlets with a 62% increase and restaurants with a 51% increase.

Energy labelling regulations goes live
The much anticipated EU energy labelling regulations for commercial refrigeration cabinets has finally gone live as of Wednesday 8th July 2015. The new legislation is part of the Ecodesign directive which will prescribe mandatory minimum energy performance and labelling levels for all cabinets sold from 1st July 2016 onwards.
